thanks for the ego boost.
i gave up on watercolor. like trying to control a crashing glider.

Great photos John, looks like the Green Mountains. I love the Jewel Weed, when the little seed pods form they explode at just a touch. I used to keep a mental note of where to find good patches of Jewel Weed as it is a good cure for Poison Ivy. I had a good friend that got covered with Poison Ivy, he boiled down a large kettle full of Jewel Weed and then bathed in the juice left behind. Next morning his Poison Ivy was gone! I'm one of the lucky ones that doesn't get, or at least haven't gotten Poison Ivy. I have yet to find Jewel Weed down here.
It took me a while to find the frog.

LOL, great description of watercolors! At least oils or acrylics you get to play with them, watercolors take courage and commitment. That's why I always grab the camera. Someday I would love to see how you do that digitally, I have dabbled a little with computer graphics over the years but nothing like that! Great work Jeff.

when you see red in the morning there is usually wind coming, thinking about getting off the water early and cooking seems better than thinking about mowing the grass  i think its been three years for the lawn, wonder if that weedwhacker still works    if i light that thing off, all the neighbors will come and watch :ermm: :laugh:fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

You're very lucky to never have had poison ivy. That stuff is nasty.
Jewel weed has saved my butt a few times.... I'm one of those who only has to look at poison ivy to get it. If Jewel Weed is nearby, I've simply crushed the liquidy stems in hand and rubbed on the exposed area. Has worked every time.
Here's what the plant looks like in the wild.
Gotta love frogs. :~)

Very nice photos TRex and there are no late entries that I know of.
I agree with all the above, very pretty. It was the third time clicking on your post that I finally saw your avatar. That was on my return trip from translating Beli's comment and he may be right. I am very slowly learning Spanish from him, if he had said you had buena fortuna (I always thought that would make a good name for a cat) I would have understood and still agreed.
Thanks for sharing,
Blair
