A few summer clouds to share.
This sequence is about 36 minutes compressed into a few seconds. I was expecting the large white cloud in the background to develop and was a little surprised when it was the foreground that grew.
We have had about 15" of rain for the month and 36" for the year. This winter we could go for months without seeing a cloud.
Happy Woosday All,
Blair

Cool shot LC, Proof that you can lead us men around by our noses, just light an egg, add meat and Carnivore and we will flock to it.

Considering the popularity of blackened fish, I thought I would throw this into the mix. It was taken when Frank From Houma visited the Chicken Ranch and did his world famous blackened redfish demo.
Cool huh...

WOW! Awesome DOW. What a great place to attend an Orchid Show! Looks like some wonderful plants. I used to raise orchids and love the Oncidiums, the cloud of yellow in the bottom of your first photo looks like Gower Ramsey, a famous Oncidium. Is your second photo another Oncidium? Looks like it might be. That pale blue Cattleya in photo number five is also very interesting as is your last one of the Paphiopedilum.
Great photos, thanks for sharing DOW.

That sure is pretty country Susan. My dad used to have a loom almost that size. I'll stick with my computer, it looks simpler!

Just Beautiful Blair, must find out how to do mine this way. is this your yard?

nice sky pics.
i took some while out on the lake beginning of the month, but for purely mercenary reasons. i use them as references for doing skies in my illustration work. it's a weird thing, because you can';t let the sky overpower the subject (or become the subject itself). but it also has to have visual interest.
here are a couple pics. i wonder if i can write of the cost of the boat rental, since these pics are for biz?

Hey Gator, looks like you finally got your clouds. Very nice animation. :~)
Here are a few from a recent walk through the Vermont woods.
Howe Brook
Jewel Weed growing on the banks.
Frog hiding in plain sight.
Ubiquitous rock fences.
Tiny toads the size of fingertips found all over the trails. There were so many in some spots, we had to be careful not to step on the little critters.

Great photos BurntRaw, I love photographing clouds, they have so little substance but great form and colors. It's always nice when they cooperate which is often.

Your illustration is beautiful Jeff, that is amazing work. I take my hat off to you, that is not easy for most of us. I need to get out the watercolors and play with them, picking up a camera is so much easier though. Thanks for sharing.
