Just received a few jars of crack.. I mean La Bomba thanks to Jason (deepsouth). Any suggestions on how others use it would be appreciated.

-spread on a cracker
-poured over softened cream cheese & served with bagel chips
-use as a spread on a roasted turkey sandwich
-use as a stuffing for pork loin with mozzarella cheese & pine nuts
just a few to get you started -
Thanks Kim

Mix some in with your hot dog chili. Awesome!
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Thanks. Jason told me it was awesome on hot dogs.

So far, my favorite has been as a marinade for shrimp. Outstanding.
-
Ben,
Thanks. I'll give that a try. -
Bob,
Great as the base topping for a pizza.

I never thought about that. I would hate to "waste" it on a marinade. But I guess when you buy pallets of it like the boilermaker there, you can afford to do things like that.

I got this idea from Fidel.
Take a b/s chicken breast, pound it flat, then grill it with a little apple smoke. Add that to a toasted hoagie roll, some provolone, and a slice or two of pepper bacon. A thick smear of bomba. Also good to add a little sautéed onion to it. -
From what I gathered in a previous thread you could spread it on a trailer hitch and it would be good.

It's no good....taste like burnt hair....send it to me and I'll dispose of it properly.
-
Steve, sounds like a great idea.
Thanks, -
Hi Anne,
Just added that to the to-do list. Sounds yummie.

You are doing better than me. Haven't cracked a jar yet. Up late cooking my pastrami.

I couldn't wait, Bob. Thanks so much for letting me try it. It's really good.
