That's hilarious Frank. We grew it when I was growing up but we always called it milo.
I love the evolution series. Excellent idea. -
I figured someone would jump on it right away
To be honest - I originally thought it was maize but what does a lad from South Louisiana know. Hmmmm - crawfish and sugar cane aren't close to grain and feed crops. -
You know I have too much time on my hands and patience to take all the pics and wait till it's harvested :unsure:

Grain sorgum,a.k.a. Milo.Eggcelent livestock feed! BTW,Dove love it too.Some of the best Dove shoots we ever had were over harvested Milo fields.

Hudge difference in "Grain" sorghum and cane sorghum used for molasses.

I agree However the best hunting was over POORLY harvested Milo fields.
West Texas its called Milo. A lot of Milo and Cotton are grown there.
