Hoss\'s BBQ - Paella Recipe ! AWESOME !!

Hi Everyone
I bought a Paella pan to cook on my large BGE. I got everything ready and then started to fill my BGE and realized I had very little lump. I resorted to cooking on my Weber. No matter how I cooked it I wanted to Thank Hoss's BBQ for the AWESOME recipe and let everyone else know what they are missing if they have not tried it. I noticed it had never been rated in the recipes section, well it is 5*'s! HumpDay Grillin & Chillin !

The Paella pan handle to handle is 17.5 inches and with raised grid it barely fits with the door shut. I think it clears with about an inch on each side. I wanted as much food as I could get on one cook since the pan is only 2 inches deep.BGE'er since 1996 Large BGE 1996, Small BGE 1996, Mini BGE 1997 -

We're loving Paella - 1st Paella cook was about a month ago. I think we've done it about 6 times now.

Great Looking Paella!!! Thanks for trying it out. It is always fun to read what people think of some of the dishes I like to cook. I am not used to using recipes in the way that I cook so to take the time to measure everything out then write it up takes time for me yet I do enjoy doing it. It also helps train me in my craft. Hoss

Hi Hoss's BBQ
It was good stuff! The only changes I made after reading many recipes, we chose yours and added a green bell pepper and a can of diced tomatoes. We also used smaller shrimp, I think they were 35-40 count. Besides that we used your recipe exactly. Thanks for posting it. I wish I knew of a way to search for recipes by forum member names, so I could try some more of your cooks on The BGE.BGE'er since 1996 Large BGE 1996, Small BGE 1996, Mini BGE 1997 -
