Nice start to the holiday weekend, though I am working tomorrow. But I am happy to be employed, the true American Dream.
Fiance picked up a montorous rib eye yesterday. Sprinkled "Rub Me Tender" a rub I cannot get any longer, on it, plus lots of pepper. Grilled some corn for 45 minutes at 350.
Then kicked it up to 600 and threw the steak on.
After 90 seconds per side, pulled it off and shut it down until 400 degrees. Then put the steak, corn & green onions on.
[
Steak pulled.
Plated w/some Texas toast. Sooooooo good and leftovers for Sunday breakfast.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. Just realized we were so excited about the steak, forgot our salads chilling in the fridge! Oh well, we'll have them tonight.

That looks fantastic. Good looking post too. I agree, one of the best parts of a hudge steak is breakfast tomorrow. :laugh:Dave San Jose, CA The Duke of Loney
