I haven't done a spatchcock chicken yet, but was wondering if anyone has ever tried to do a turkey the same way??? Thanks fer any/all input!

There's lot of info under the search function on spatchcocked turkey. I see that you are new so probably have found that function yet. If you look near the top of the forum you will see Home, Forums, Cookbook, etc.. If you click on Forums it will give you some more choices are where you can surf this website. One of them is Search. Click on it and type in what you are looking for. It took me a while to find it, but there is a wealth of information in there.

Doesn't seem to be done too often, I suppose because the large area that a big bird might need. -

This past weekend a spatchcocked turkey at 325 for 1 1/2 hours. High in dome - direct. IT was
VERY EASY.... Did with coffee rub.....Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers. -
How many lbs. was the turkey? I'll be trying this soon...

small turkey - 10.8 lbs.....
