since getting my BGE around xmas, I have cooked the following:
steaks (at least 3 or 4 times)
hamburgers (1)
thick pork chops (3)
stuffed pork loin (1)
pork butt (3)
spatchcock chicken (1)
chicken pieces (2)
crab cakes (1)
salmon (1)
baby backs (2)
sausage (2)
pizza (3 or 4)
I am looking for some new recipes! I know I can randomly select something from the eggfest cookbooks on nakedwhiz or from the recipe forum here, but maybe you have a favorite cook (main entree) not listed above that you'd personally recommend. (Brisket is on my list to do, so maybe something else?)
I'm all ears!

Mad Max Turkey - it's not just for the holidays.
Stuffed Fritos from Frank in Houma - do a forum search and you will get lots of ideas on this great appetizer. This is fun when you have guests and are also cooking the main dish on the egg.
Buckboard Bacon -it's easy and you will enjoy the results of a less fatty and delicious bacon.
Good luck and have fun.
FaithHappily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

A nie thick veal chop. Probably the best meat I've cooked on the egg. Roast some tomatoes for a sauce and grill some eggplant.
Whole Duck..

Speaking of first time cooks, I'm doing my first prime rib tomorrow.
And speaking of chili. Here's a link to chili I just did. I bring it up again because I took the left overs to some friends yesterday and they couldn't stop eating it...despite the heat. I guess they loved the pain??!!!! and felt it was so unique and so smoky they couldn't stop. The smoke from the chipotles and smoking it for 6 hours.

ABT'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Prime Rib, more salmon, bread-crumb Tilapia(Naked Whiz), hot wings, chili. I ain't gonna post recipes for each, but if you are interested in any I will email you the recipes I use....but most I got from here, or did a variation of recipes here. Then, try anything you would/could do in an oven too. How about just doing breakfast on the egg one night? We like to do that too, and bake a nice sausage and cheese bread loaf with it. -
If you have a Dutch Oven here is a very good cook

Hi tex
You could make Pig Candy and Fatties. Serve them at a convention of cardiologist and you'd be voted Man Of The Year!!!
They maynot be main entree type food but they sure are good and a lot of fun.
Good burgers are a must, I love Cheeseburgers or Swiss Mushroom Burgers.
Bacon, Mushroom, Onion, Swiss Turkey Burgers are great also.

Not sure what recipe Ross linked to, but Im sure it's good. If you don't have a D.O., get one. It's a great time of year for soups, chili, stew, etc.
Before getting the Egg, I had 1 chili recipe/technique. This fall/winter alone I have made 4 varieties of chili, including "smoked pork chili verde" for Eggtoberfest, which I received a few compliments for. -
How about dwell in the shell Lobster
Get a spider and a wok from the Ceramic grill Store
