Had to try Jay's lemon tilapia, and I'm kinda stuck on crash hot potatoes. Third time in as many weeks, this time on the pizza stone.
With stove top asparagus. The kids wanted to pose.
Plated (not very artistic - sorry)
Very tasty meal. Relatively healthy, even.
Thanks for looking.

Was delish!
Got those plates from my parents. Love them for every day use. Light and easy to use.

LOL...Everything looks great! Did crashed taters here tonight as well! LOVE them! Going to do a post later for the newbies....

Are they Corelle?
-
Richard,
Great and healthy looking meal. Cute kids! I don't think you'll have a problem having them wait for pics.
Were the taters better on the pizza stone? -
Morning Richard:
Except for that green stuff on the plate it looks pretty good! Gotta love the lemons as a shield for the fish and what it adds in flavor. We did the same meal (without the green stuff) on Wednesday!Have a GREAT day!

Morning, Jay.
I love the green stuff. One of my faves.
Thanks for the idea of tilapia on lemons. Like you said, it protects the fish, and it imparts a good flavor. Like your first attempt, I used Shaking the Tree. One of my favorite DP spices.

To be honest, I really couldn't tell too much difference on the cookie sheet vs the pizza stone. Perhaps a little more uniform, as the bottoms got a little too dark on the cookie sheet. I think I'll do the pizza stone again.
My wife likes the stone, as she doesn't want me ruining her cookie pans.
I smashed them on parchment paper, and then put that on the hot stone.

Thanks, LC. I read about them for a year before trying, and now I'm hooked on them.
I'll have to try your rice patties soon. The crispy outside sounds great.
Thanks for posting that bibmbap (sp) cook. Looked very nice. If I get adventurous, I'll give that a shot. I've had it a few times at the Asian mart, and really enjoyed it. Until you posted, I never considered trying it. Like you, I love the kimchi. I keep it in the fridge, and eat it many days as a side with lunch.
Cheers!

Was trying to remember the name - yeah they are Corelle. They are my favorite for everyday use.
You got some? -
Plate looks great, can you send the post for both of those recipes.

Thanks, Beli. They do like egged food. Seems like just about every meal my 11 year old (the girl in the picture) writes down the meal for things to make for her birthday week.
She's got about 15 things down so far, so she will have to pick some favorites.
She is wanting to start doing some cooking on the egg. I'll have to put the MAPP torch up and get back to started cubes so she can do everything herself.

Great looking meal and kids Richard

Great......Valeria my 7 year old......loves the egg....first thing she cooked was a pizza on the large....in the shape of a princess castle.... ...then she got a mini & that's her territory...I have to ask her if I want to use it.... :P
