I am ashamed to say that I have not had my BGE's fired up since Christmas day. They have been buried in snow and I know that is no excuse so I had to treat my wife to a T-Bone steak dinner prepared the T-Rex method and I don't need to say anymore the pictures tell the rest.
"WOW"

Two t-bones rubbed with Dizzy Pig Raising the Steaks.

Searing both sides. Love the fire from the BGE.

Taking a rest for 20mins.

After 6 mins per side here is the result.

And the final product.

Know what you mean man. Grilled stuff and BBQ are so great in the winter eh? I did burgers on Friday.

Nice steaks and thanks for the cooking apron in Atlanta. I get a lot of laughs wearing it here in Florida.

Looks like tonight was a good steak night. Still have lots of snow?
  • Yes I have been slacking it and did not get the deck cleaned off until this mild spell. Good to be back at it again.
Are you going to the Toronto Fest, Nieggara Fest or both this year?
  • I am sure there are lots of Canadians down there. Jim must have sent the apron or did you get it at Eggtoberfest?
    I missed out last October.

    Gary,

Both for sure! Going to Minnesota in a couple of weeks. Tempe would have been way too hot. Don't know anything about the TO deal but you guys are welcome to stay here and we can get a van into the city.

Good luck with the weather. Only 12 inches of snow left  .

We have a huge front coming thru tonight with major rain. Flood warnings are in place. I may need an ark before sunrise.
