All of Bill's sauces are good, and the Tennessee Red is no exception. It's tangy for sure, sorta like a NC vinegar sauce, but it's so much more. It has more body than a typical vinegar sauce, and some really intriguing flavors behind it. Some which I can't even describe because it's such a carnival on the tastebuds. It's also becoming pretty well known that TR is really nice mixed with the original.
Happy cookin.

Not a fan of the Red sauce. The other sauces are quite good. My favorite BBQ sauce is Gates. They are out of KC. Good luck to all. Tom

I used it on some pulled beef recently - I like it.

I use it in the ratio of 1 TR to 3 Blue's in order to cut down the sweetness. As a stand alone use though we really like the TR as a finishing sauce served warm on the side with pork loin roasts. GOOD stuff and makes your guests think you are a real master! Just don't let them see you pour it out of the jar! heheheRe-gasketing America one yard at a time.

Very thin,a little vinegary, absolutely delishous on pulled pork.I really like it but I cannot stand sweet sauces on BBQ.

I do a 50/50 mix and its good. The red is too strong by its self for me.

In general, I'm not much of a sauce guy. But, I like the Red on my PBE's. (pork burnt ends) It sort of ties the NC tang with some other flavors that I can't nail down......Happy Trails~thirdeye~Barbecue is not rocket surgery -
My favorite. We buy it by the gallon.

Good stuff - sweet and tangy. I used to use it a lot as a finishing sauce on pulled pork or cut it into the original the thin it out a bit. But we stopped eating anything with high-fructose corn syrup in it almost 3 years ago, so I don't buy it anymore.
I make a Lexington sauce now that's pretty tasty and use it the same way.Food & Fire - The carnivorous ramblings of a gluten-free grill geek.
