I can't maintain this pace :woohoo: :cheer:
but it was a fun way to start the new year.
I started by trimming & slicing 7#'s of London Broil for beef jerky. (no pics) Then Ginny and I had Buckboard Bacon Eggs Benedict. Here is some BB frying & the Eggs Benedict.
Ginny makes great Hollandaise...
Ginny pouring a Champagne for Mimosa's
These were perfect for me...
Then while watching a great Auburn/Northwestern game we made Maine Eggs Lobster Dip...OMG....this is spectacular...I cooked 2 tails on the mini
Chopped them up for the dip...it was hard not to just eat this..
back on the mini until bubbly
add a few more lobster bites and it is ready to eat...I am telling you, you have got to try this stuff
I got the Baker's Apprentice book from Santa so I had to make some bread. Cooking on the large at 350.
It is ready to eat.
Nice....
I also cooked a pork roast while Ginny was making black eyed peas, collared & rice....needless to say we ate well today.. :woohoo:
HAPPY NEW YEAR to all...I am going to rest now..

Nice look set of grub! Not that you are interested, but there is a pomegranate version of a mimosa. Happy New Year!

Kim,
That really was a great series of cooks. I really like eggs benedict too and making it with home cured BB or CB is fantastic.
I was expecting a different kind of post -- I figure that anything cooked on the fist day of the year is the best cook of the year.
I did some ribs that were PDB but far from my best effort, but they were definitely the best of the year! -
No dessert?
Incredible cooks. I gotta go take my cholesterol medicine again after reading that post.
Happy New Year Vidalia1, Ginny, and everyone else! -

WOW-cut it out....you are making the rest of us look like slackers! Seriously, it all looks just wonderful. Isn't that lobster dip to die for?
I hope you get some rest today to recuperate from the food fest at your house.
Happy New Year.
