I've been following the instructions on the Celtic Spirit site for the method for doing a brisket, but I couldn't find a recipe for the marinade/injection.
CW - is that a trade secret or can you share?
Thanks!!

I use equal parts. beef stock (not broth), soy sauce, shire sauce, beer, couple teaspoons of dry mustard, table spoon of cumin.
Marinate for at least 2 hours, but four is better -
Thanks for the info. On your web site, in your write up on your method for brisket you indicated that you didn't inject, but you were going to start. I'm curious what your experience has been and if you have a preference over marinade vs. inject.
Again, thanks! -
Still haven't got around to injecting, but I will use the marinade.
