First cook on BGE......successful!

I cooked burgers tonight as my first cook on BGE. They were great. Wife loved them. Used Cowboy Lump.
PS....A shout out "Thanks" to Bubba Tim for the quick and easy instructions on the burgers.

Next I would go for Spatchcock chicken. Read this entire website and you'll find most if not all of your questions answered.

I'll go with spatchcock chicken, direct on a RAISED grid at 350° or a little higher.
But it's important to realize the breast will cook more quickly than the thighs, so try mad max's method for turkey: Put a bag of ice cubes on the breast for 20 minutes before cooking. The chilled breast will take longer to cook and after 45-60 minutes the thigh/leg should be 180° and the breast 160°. COOK TO TEMPERATURE, NOT TO TIME!
