I remember there were about a hundred rules that basically said there were no rules..... But can something I Egged Thursday be posted, or will I get smacked down? Heheeehe.Happy Trails~thirdeye~Barbecue is not rocket surgery

the (non)rules list is attached below, & yes, you may post something that was cooked last thursday, or 100 thursdays ago, but I cannot promise that someone won't smack you down in the process:

Jerkwater......OUCH. Poor ole Zippylip. After the name calling, I'am sending the Zipster Smiles to ya Zippy.

I guess if I get smacked down, I can use these new tools to defend myself.... So here we go. This is marinated chicken on Brazilian skewers, with onion petals, and seasoned with Indian River Rainbow Pepper. Grilled in the small Egg, using the raised direct method.

Yeah I had to modify my position toward the end of the cook to finish the ends.
They were marinated in a Italian type salad dressing.
Our temps came back into the 50's, I've been watering the lawn twice a week.Happy Trails~thirdeye~Barbecue is not rocket surgery -

Show us something we haven't seen before.....

First one with leg
Only one other time to fix "shoulder" but this 9#er was labeled Fresh Picnic and the meat looked very dark like ham, so...
I thought I could make it into a Ham, but a few forum Gurus led me away from that notion :( :side:
The first time shoulder I left the rind on, so it was very, very fatty with a ton of fat in the drip pan....
Here are some "Raw" shots:
smoking using only old lump, because I want to use it up, and it never gets very high in temp anyway....(bought some new-to-me-never-seen-in-town-before lumps)
but MBGE is clean and going fine!
Using Coffee Wood samples from OKC Fest
Only coated pig, heavily, with Kosher Salt and Medium Grind Pepper...want to see what meat and coffee wood does.... -
Kari, picnics make great PP, but next time pull the skin off, you'll get a lot more bark and less fat. -RP
-
I DID, see in laying to the back left side???
-
Can't spell them, but sure would like to taste some fresh ones from the rind I saved :woohoo:
-
Thankfully, the man who can not catch fish is not logged on today. This would break his heart.
Some Hot, and I mean HOT, Chourice, smoked mozzerella, piri-piri sauce and grilled vegetables on a Portugese bun.
