Spatchcocked chicken.....What grid height?
Wino
Posts: 69
I am going to attempt my first spatchcocked chicken today. What grid height should I use? If raised, should it be indirect with a drip pan or direct.

Wino,
I cook mine on a raised grid direct at 350° until the internal temp in the breast reaches 165°.

I had gone to your page, (which I do often for info). I must have missed the picture at the top of the raised grid. Well the chicken is now off the Egg. Wow is it moist. I will have to make this one of my regular weekly cooks.
Thanks
Ron
