Very nice.

Beautifully done.
One suggestion - its not clear from the photo if you have space between the bottom of the Egg and the granite beneath it. If not, you might want to use the ceramic feet or some other spacer - the heat could cause the granite to crack. -
that is a sweet table! easy to keep clean!
-
Very nice, love the granite. You'll also love all of the storage space. Great job.
-
Outstanding table. Nothing like custom work to make a table special... such as in the curved front on the beautiful granite top. Sweet.
Enjoy! -
Yes, the ceramic feet are there.
-
I love the DOUBLEBARRELED setup!Nice table.
-
Great looking table.
-
That is awesome! Love the granite top.

Have to admit, a little jeolous, mine are both mediums. Looks like we may have something else in common, one with nomex, one with the old felt gasket?
-
Awesome - I've been thinking about one like this. I like the cabinet's you built in. Are those weatherproof? If so how did you do it?
-
Can I get a WOOP WOOP for that table? :laugh:Molly

Not sure what you mean about weatherproof built-ins.
-
That thing is schnazzy! Nice job!

Well, I have things like leather gloves, starter cubes, cast iron grates that I don't like to get alot of moisture. Right now I store them in a sealed galvanized trash can where no water can get in. I would think a cabinet or drawers would be the best but not sure if they are sealed well enough to avoid getting my CI grate rusty, gloves moldy etc.. Maybe yours table will be covered and this is not an issue. Mine would be on my deck.
Maybe I am crazy but just been trying to think of a way to have a table had storage that was weatherproof....
By the way it is a really good looking table. I will definitely go with the granite. -
They are not sealed from the elements but living in Wisconsin moisture isn't a big problem. My wife and I am now thinking of putting a a roof over it now this spring. For now I have a waterproof cover for it.
-
That is kinda weird that the the tables are very similar and both Eggs on the right have the new gasket.
-
maybe great minds think alike!
-
That's obvious!
-
Beautiful looking table
-
Beautiful table though, I know you will immensly enjoy it!
-
Thank you. I love the wood on yours. You are right about the storage. You can get a lot of stuff in there.

A big thank you to everyone for the positive comments on the new Egg table. I've been an Egghead for about 3 years now and find this forum very helpful and all of you EGGERS out there have been a big inspiration to me. Thanks again for making this forum so great.

nice looking table.

Very nice table! I would love to have a table like that. I've got to build me a new one.
-
Maybe it is the BBQ in me but I think that the pumpkin might have a hard time keeping stable temps with the airflow that would be evident. Might need another prototype....Oh and the taple looks amazing.
