I took a Costco 3 pack of BB Ribs out of a very good freezer and still in their origional packing. How long are these good for. The pack is dated 4/08

If they have been in the freezer they should be fine. Cook em up.

I'd probably eat them, but most will say 6 months max if in a regular freezer and 12 months for a deep freeze. I'm assuming that by the original packing you mean they are still in the cryovac sealed thick plastic. If not, I'd trash them. Not worth the effort to produce some possibly nasty ribs.

USDA has refrigerated and frozen times for all kinds of meats. Google is your friend.
If the ribs were taken home and frozen at 0° I would eat them.
