The only difference for using my mini is 9" grid and 4 hours per load of lump.
Recipes - I use them all.

damn! I accidently deleted my 1st response!
How many you cookin for?
are you staying someplace that has a kitchen (ie- a Fridge)?
don't forget to bring your cooking tools.
some easy direct 400 degree mini cooks include hamburgers, hot dogs, tenderloin steaks (3 fit comfortably, 4 with some creativity)
salmon fillet, shrimp on skewers ( I cut down the wooden ones to fit in the mini)
I use the raised grid on it a lot for indirect cooks where I make a drip pan/heat barrier out of aluminum foil. you can cook 3.5 - 4 lb whole chickens or roasts this way
I also can do close to 2 lbs of steak tips this way, just need to keep rotating the crop

Anytime Zippy - bring your little friend (pig with a tear) and he can play with my bichons.

Okay - he must have name. I will need to know his name (or is it a she?) to introduce him to my bichons.
