Plano Fest Postponed

Bad news. Elliots Hardware is postponing the Plano Eggfest until spring due to the economy. Alec, my dealer , who goes by a4cart on the forum, will be happy to answer any of your questions. He assures me the fest is still going to be a reality. I guess times are still tough in the business world. Alec is a good guy and knows Tom, Ceramic Grill, and John Henry, John Henry rubs, well. So he has to be ok! If I hear anything new, Ill keep you posted.

    Bummer....I know there is a BBQ Outfitters in Southlake...same outfit/different owner that pulls off the Texas Fest in Austin.....maybe they could be talked into doing one this Fall.

    Well shoot!!! Now what am I going to do in November???

    But I fully understand. Business is down here at the Chicken Ranch too. Only one of the Girls has worked this week. The others haven't done a lick of work in over a week.

    But "Recovery" is just around the corner, we're told.

    Now the Eggfest is just postponed till the spring. Elliott's has the approval of the wholesaler which is needed for the eggfest to take place. If yall have any questions feel free to contact me via the forum or through email. Sorry for the disappointment to yall but I do think that waitnig til the spring will allow the fest to be better eggsperience for all.

    Spring is a very busy time for Eggfests. There are already conflicts with the Texas Eggfest date and probably the Oklahoma Eggfest.

    You really need to research this thing well before you decide on a date. Many of us are already committed to other fests.

    Too early and it's too cold. Too late and it's too hot. You have a very small window to pick from.

    Not having any luck talking my 10 year old granddaughter into having her birthday at the eggfest in Plano. So now will spend the day in Frisco knee deep in 10 year old little girls. Was looking forward to spitting my day in Frisco and at the Plano Eggfest.
    Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given another Mini to add to the herd.
