Yes Kim that steak does look awesome!!I also like the Cprese salad,our tomatoes and basil are going crazy and it will be a staple for a while.

the hanger steak is the muscle that "hangs" between the rib cage and the diaphram in the cow.. . . there is only one per cow. .. . it is also called the "butcher's steak" cause in the old days the butchers would take them home cause they knew how good they were. ... they are very hard to find as most grocery stores don't even carry them. ... they are very popular in france.. .. and you can often find them served in french bistros. . .simply put, its the most flavorful piece of meat on the cow. ..very deep beefy flavor...
