Little Steven's post on stuffed burgers inspired me to try these. Instead of 2 burger patties I used ground chuck for one side and sausage for the other side. The filling was onion, avacado and pepper jack with jalapenos. Coated both sides with DP cowlick for a little heat. Side dish was some tater tots and a little peacan for smoke.
I thought about bacon on top but I didn't want to counter the benefits from the avacado. :woohoo:

Dale-Any chance that Dr friend of yours with the BGE is a cardiologist? BTW, did I tell you my son's going to be attending Franklin & Marshall? I'll be egging at their football games this fall :woohoo:

Lol! No but I'm sure he knows a few. F&M has a beautiful campus which I'm sure you know. He must be a pretty smart kid too. The Iron Hill brewery is right across the street from the stadium. Let me know when you're in town and I'll meet you. Go Diplomats!

They got a lot bigger than I planned. One of them will really fill you up.

Dale-You got it buddy. I'm all fired up. He's going to play football for them. There's always a tailgate after the game, so I'm thinking about the best way to get my egg over there-not so much hauling it over, but getting it back when it's hot. Hitch had a post a few weeks ago using a bumper hitch mount. I might try something like that. As far as the brewery, I'm in. I'll let you know when I'm coming over.

Sounds like you need some of those gloves that bill has to remove the hot lump. Empty the lump then we'll meet at the brewery until it cools off. Problem solved.

Nice!I must try this one!!
