Looking for some receipes to make sausage. I've heard about the different kits available, but anybody got any favories? I've got the KA grinder & sausage stuffer kit, so either kind [patties or stuffed] would do. Thanks

Hey Mike, I've tried hundreds of different recipes over the years, but in the last couple I've been using the Hi-Mountain products. Their bratwurst seasoning is excellent. -RP

Not so fast with the skip the kits, recipes vary a lot. It is frustrating to grind a couple butts and go to all the work of mixing and stuffing following a certain recipe and not like the results. As an example, your link has 7 different recipes for bratwurst. One claims to be a clone of Johnsonville's. At the end of the recipe it says it close but not quite. The Hi-Mountain kit produces brats every bit as good if not better than Johnsonville's. -RP

here are a couple of easy ones from Bob Trudnak at bbq guru. They want you to use their silicone mats, but suppose you could use casings if you wanted.
