Tru-Tel Help Please

I need a new thermometer and I'm looking at the Tru-Tel page. I see 2 different models recommended for the LBGE. One is rated 150-750 and the other 200-1000 degrees. Which is better? Yes, I do often TREX steaks. Can I assume that the 1000 degree model is best?

personal preference kind of thing. I have 3 and all are the 200 to 1,000. Either way you'll enjoy the superiority of the Tel-Tru.Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.
