The rub we like is Bad Byron's Butt Rub.

And for sauce, our own or a local sauce to New Orleans called Sal and Judy's. Very good. They have a spicy and a mild.

So many answers.
Pork:
Chops I like DP Redeye Express
Ribs I like John Henry Pecan
Pulled Pork I like DP Dizzy Dust
Beef:
steak I keep simple with salt, pepper, maybe some granulated garlic
brisket I use salt, pepper, ancho chili powder, and onion powder
roasts I use DP Cowlick
On fish I like DP Raging River
On chicken I like lemon pepper or DP Swamp Venom
Sauce is really a spur of the moment choice for me. I have a handful of favorites. -
I am new to this fantastic club. But as of right now this is my list.
Chicken: Cayenne Rub (Recipe can be provided)
Steak: Kirkland (Costco) Steak Seasoning,Truly Good.
Pork: I am still experimenting with some of my own creations.
Potato's: Chili Lime Seasoning (William Sonoma)
I have Dizzy Pig on my list of 'To Try' but I have not purchased any yet. This is the greatest signature EVAR! -
Butt Rub for butts and chicken wings. Favorite by far for my clan.
My favorite BBQ sauce is from a place in Charleston called Jim and Nicks. They let me buy it by the gallon from them. Get the Hot, and you will be a believer. -
It's like collecting wine. There are no definitive answers.Collect and try. It's all personal preference depending on the meat and circumstances.Just experiment,it's fun.

for rubs I like John Henry's

We love John Henry’s Pecan, Butter Pecan and Butter Pecan Hot for beef, chicken and seafood. For pork, John Henry’s Raspberry Chipotle is hard to beat.
