Grill Lifter for Large Cast Iron Grill?

I moved from a medium to a large after Waldorf, and now find that some of my tried-and-true tools don't work. I used to use a grill lifter for the medium cast iron grill that was maybe a foot long, but when I used it on the large the weight of the large grill bent it like spaghetti.

Any recommendations for a grill lifter for the large cast iron grill? The original cast BGE lifter won't fit the ribs of the large cast grill, either.
