I use a pizza pan from Lodge Cast Iron. It fits the large BGE. Does not have much of a side.
Lodge Pro Logic Pizza Pan Part#: P14P3
The Lodge Pizza/Roasting Pan is a magnificent piece of cast iron and is the best way to prepare golden-crusted pizza, or roast veggies. Perfect for cookie or biscuit sheet. Pizza recipes included.
Item No. Description Price Per Qty
P14P3 Pizza Pan, 14" dia., with recipe card $55.95 -
I bought a Lodge 10" CI skillet and simply cut the handle off with a hack saw, then "polished" that with a Dremel. Works great!

My Lodge 12" skillet just fits with the handle, but it is older and doesn't have the loop handle opposite the regular handle. Mark

You could contact Lodge for overall dimensions. -
It's not too hard to get one in the second hand stores and cut the handle off. Cheap too. Or you an go fancier and not so cheap at http://www.lodgemfg.com/ I particularely like https://secure.lodgemfg.com/storefront/product1_new.asp?menu=logic&idProduct=3931
But it may be too big

I have lodage 8", 10" and 15" all with the handles cut off. All of them fit on my large. The preseasoned lodge CI darkens very well after a few cooks.I got them at a store called Academy (sporting goods store).LBGE Katy (Houston) TX

I did the same as Gandolf . . .
and fabricated handles from a piece of pipe, I can close the dome and handles are always cool. My egg is a medium and my CI is 10 1/4" to 10 1/2" and one CI lid fits all. CI is Lodge that I found at Bass Pro Shop.

Hey, it depends on how large you want the skillet to be. The largest that will fit, that has a handle, is the wagner or griswold #10. Any lower number will fit as well. Although they are no longer made, you can find them for auction on EBAY. I am currently trying to find a good #10 for mY large BGE. As stated above, Lodge does make a new #10, which has a 12 inch cooking surface, but it has an additional handle opposite the main handle, that must be removed.

Do you guys think this Lodge would work if I had the spider or used it on the grate?

ck out the lodge Double dutch oven. a five qt dutch oven and a 10 1/4 shallow skillet L8dd3 39.00 at academy

Wal Mart, Sears, Kroger, Publix all sell Lodge.

Looks like it would be close as it's about 15 inches corner to corner inside + maybe 1 inch extra on each of the two corners so call it 17 inches maximum. Which I believe should just fit into a large.

One of the best places to find CI cheep is at flee markets. We have a huge one three times a year at Brimfield MA. I passed up an incredible CI Waffle maker this year there. It must have weighed 20 pounds, we don't eat that many waffles  storing something that big is also a problem.
