I got a notice lately that my storage limit was almost full. If I delete some old pics, I realize anyone looking at an old post will not see the pics.
How do you guys with lots of pics handle this? Do you sign up for the "paid" Photobucket deal? (I have started using smaller sized pics to save some space).
Thanks,

I'm interested in the answer to this also as I have to be getting close myself.

How many is there when you are getting close to full?

Ahh the catch behind "free".. Either go paid or break the links. Though you may be able to resize all your photos, but you will run into this issue again.
Course there is always the option of hosting your own server :woohoo: -
He's too old to count that high

I have 751 images now sized at 640 X 480. Not sure what the limit is but I must be getting close.

Just bite the bullet and pay for the better service at PhotoBucket. I ran out of space about 3 years ago and do pay the extra fee for the service. I feel it's a good deal and I keep about 1500 pictures at that service.

You post lots of pics, CW. Do you use the free and remove old ones, or have the paid version?
-
i originally put my pics in at the 1280x? size, but I got a warning, so started using the smaller size. I will try to go back an resize some of the originals. :(

For a free account you get 1 gig of space. If your just keeping pictures there just to store them, dont , get a separate drive at home for that. For web pictures and for friends to view on-line, limit the size to 800x600 or there about. Also at 350-400dpi. That's all you really need. You can and and remove photos as you need to. For about the same money you can have a small web site and host your own pictures for less than most of the on-line sites will charge to store yours. I would not worry about a link 3 years ago if it will be there in 2015.

I have my own server...

I only use the Photobucket account for Forum pics. I will use smaller pics and try to resize my older ones. Thanks.
