I wasn't very quick at down loading the pictures. Meatloaf hit the spot though.
I was in the mood for the green bean cassarole we only seem to cook during the holidays.
Glad most of the grease went to the drip pan instead of staying in the meatloaf.

looks goodSalado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers. -
 It was Sunday dinner; the last of it has already been consumed via sandwich. Maybe we could slip one an egg at the Texasfest.LBGE Katy (Houston) TX

It was and I love it when I can find more sides to cook along with the main dish. After all, we already have the fire going.LBGE Katy (Houston) TX

Looks great!!!!
Nuttin' like a little meat lump.
And Green bean casserole.
-
Your post got me to thinking how the smoke would enhance the green bean casserole, might be pretty good.
Also, your meat loaf looks really good. I can see the onion but and there is some green. What do you mix with the meat... might be easier to ask how you make your meat loaf?

What can of pan is that meat lump sitting on? It looks raised of the grid a couple of inches. I had no complaints at the dinner table. I’m going to have to find another couple of casserole dishes like that to do outside.LBGE Katy (Houston) TX

Thanks, I sure appreciate that. I use ground beef (or sometimes chuck) onion and either bread crumbs or crushed saltines. Some kind of pepper might be a good addition.

That looks great! I could go for a meatloaf sammie:)Knoxville, TN
Nibble Me This -
Meat Loaf
2 lbs 90/10 ground meat
1 lb ground pork
½ to 1 cup bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 med. onion minced
2 TBL chopped parsley
1 tsp each chive, thyme & oregano
½ to ¾ cup ketchup
1 TBL Worcestershire sauce
Salt & Pepper
Dash of Hot Sauce (Franks)
Topping:
¾ cup ketchup
1 tsp mustard
2 TBL Chili Sauce
1 to 2 TBL Honey
Couple of dashed Hot Sauce
Couple of dashes Worcestershire sauce
This makes more topping than you will use while baking the meatloaf, but it goes great on the mashed potatoes and the meat loaf.
400* Dome for 350* Grid, I pull at 160* to 162* internal.LBGE Katy (Houston) TX -
