Wagyu from Costco—too late for Valentine's!

The latest Costco e-flyer offers two Wagyu products via mail only, not in warehouses. Both arrive frozen in five days via D'Artagnan (from a TX grower), pricing including shipping:
Kobe-Style Wagyu Beef Boneless Strip Steaks (two 12-oz steaks): $129.99
Kobe-Style Wagyu Beef Bone-in Ribeye Steaks (two 18-oz steaks): $119.99
Not to mention a magnum of Clos des Papes Chateauneuf du Pape 2006 for $270.
Is it just me, or is this timed about 10 days too late? Wouldn't people be buying this BEFORE Valentine's Day? Or are sellers banking on those who need to make expensive apologies?
Salesman at Best Buy told me last week that Valentine's is the best season for selling appliances b/c guys think they're buying their wives something romantic in that new washer and dryer...

Okay...the meat I get, but any guy that thinks buying his bride a washing machine is the way to said bride's heart needs to have his IQ tested...cuz that just ain't bright.
As Ron White says..."you can't fix stupid." -
What about a 60" plasma. Not that I'm getting one but isn't that the gift that keeps on giving. Not to mention March Madness is coming up.

I'm not greedy...a 50" from either of the "Preferred 'Ps'" (Pioneer/Panasonic) works for me!!
