First of all let me begin with – I don’t eat breakfast food. In my meager little brain fatties are breakfast food, so I guess I had never tried them either at home or at Eggtoberfest. Reelgem’s post with Mexican cheese etc… must have intrigued me so I tried it and added a few jalapenos diced and used Thirdeye’s method for stuffing. We loved the results. I wasn’t home when Laddad but them on to cook so I’m unsure of what type wood he smoked with yesterday. No pix forgot my camera last night. Had dinner with SEKYegger family and Mel Chandler family last night. Great night for egg food!!!

Well I have to wait to later in the week to try em but reelgems picture with the cheese and pepper, onions did inspire me.

Glad to see you found something you didn't think you would like and did. Way to go.

  • Try them! They were great. Kinda reminded you of pizza in a way. Made for a great hors d'oeuvre!

Thanks for all your kind words. That was the first time I had ever made a fattie and was really pleased with the results.
