A friend needs some powerful prayers

A good friend who had a double lung transplant 5 years ago is not doing so good. He is our neighbor in FL and we just met them last year when they bought their place. He is an awesome guy and quit a fighter. He is in Ohio right now in the hospital where they did the surgery. What ever you believe in Please send good thoughts his way. He loves to fish and hunt and has a great wife. We were looking forward to getting to spend more time with them this winter. I dearly hope it still happens but it does not sound good. Life expectancy is 5 years for a double lung transplant. thanks Julie

My wife works in the transplant field. There have been many strides in drugs and such over the years, I hope these advances work for your friend. Prayers are with you all.

One doesn't have to look far to see their problems arn't as bad as one might think.

About 2 weeks ago a dear friend's 8 year old son lost his lifelong fight with AML Leukemia. Terrible situation for such a young soul and their family. They had good insurance but the unpaid costs are at about 2M.

Our prayers go out to your friends and others that are having problems. This is a tough time of year.

My prayers are with him and his family. So much sickness and such this time of year when things should be happy. 48 year old friend who has been cancer free 5 years found out this week its back in his neck lympnoids and tonsels and just got engaged last month. Just have to put our faith in his hands and let it go.

Thank you everyone. We have not been able to get a hold of anyone to get any news the last couple of days so are really worried.
Hi Mike we go to Port Charlotte. I never thought I would want to spend more than 2 days in FL. But we got a great deal in a single wide in a nice park were my parents, in laws and a lot of other family go, so got it. surprise, surprise I can tolerate it :)but still prefer it under 80:(
