Bingo, except that you freeze the filled cup. It slows down the cook time of the breast, then bastes it as it thaws out.
Remember eggor?, he did the famous lemon boob turkey. Here is the first picture of lemon boob chicken I saw which inspired all of us to try this...

Heheee. Good luck with the outlaws. I can't help with tips on whole birds, or beer can birds either....I stopped cooking both of them years ago.
Like fishless mentioned the filling is herb butter. After selecting the appropriate size, just remove the pulp from the lemons. Mix up your filling, fill up the cups and freeze. On a whole bird, insert them an hour before cooking. If just doing a breast partially freeze and slip under just before hitting the pit.
I have tried lemon butter, rosemary/garlic butter, basil/garlic butter and a chile powder/cumin/garlic fillings. Hmmmm....I must like garlic.Happy Trails~thirdeye~Barbecue is not rocket surgery -
