a few of the old timers on this board know who i am in "real life". but i usually try to keep a low profile.
my partner and i had a very successful act in Las Vegas but have since semi-retired due to an accident i suffered. now i spend most of my time cooking (on the BGE), and working with Ziggy to educate people about endangered animals.
here i am with Methusalah, our house cat. the others come and go, but he stays in all the time and is as gentle as a baby. the candles i got from my friend fishless, who made them himself.
here are the new kittens born this june.
me and Ziggy with the cats outside.
now that i have time on my hands, i like to do papier mache'
and of course i like to cook on the egg!
Ziggy makes the money, and i spend it.ed egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante -

My forum name gives it away - I grow perennials and also lots of other plants. I do too much volunteer work - for Suicide Prevention Services and my church. I love people, love wine, love a party - but also enjoy knitting quietly. I would love to have time to read...

i think we all have projects like that. heres my 71, i think i have more hours walking around her drinking a beer thinking about driving down some trails than i have had working on her. ive never registered it in the 6 or so years ive owned her, but boy do i enjoy drinking around her. last year i installed a lift kit, maybe this winter some rims and tires and an electronic ignition, then maybe....
fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it -

It's actually a second job, but I work with my buddy refurbishing and working on church bells. We travel quite a bit and it's something not many people do. Hard work at times, but pretty cool. FG

This has been fun to read. For me, my hobbies have changed drastically as I "matured". I used to mountain bike quite a bit and play golf several times a week. Now that I have retired, I just don't have the time. Today, I do still play a little golf and recently decided to get back into photography.Larry
