Cast Iron Grid- Lucky me

Just a quick question. Today at EggwegoFest my wife purchased a cast iron grid. Is there anything special i must do before or after using it, beside the routine cleaning - does it require a special way to clean? Maybe dumb questions, but........
BYW if you were in the neighborhood and did not attended EggwegoFest you missed a great one, even with the rain.

Just rinse it and cook away.
I give mine a shot of Pam when it cools. Other than that - no maintenance. -
me wife, illinigal got to the computer first. Look for her pics, unfortunatly cooking took away from serious picture taking.

I keep mine in the BGE.

One thing to remember with cast iron grids, they break MUCH easier then the regular ones. But they are awesome, I love mine!
I like to use it upside down for pig candy and fish, lots of surface area really handy.
