See you there!

I will be there also. Hope to learn a bunch about cooking on the Egg as well as meeting new friends.

You are going to get a lot of great ideas and taste some fabulous food. Do NOT miss Whack's pizza!
I was just working on my menu this morning and will be off to the grocery store in a little bit. As of now (things change as I get new ideas!), I'm making:
Pan perdue (recipe from this forum last week)
Bacon-wrapped tater tots (from Florida eggfest)
Nutella/banana quesadillas (from Eggtoberfest)
Hubby's salmon (providing I can find King somewhere)
Mango/brie quesadillas (from Eggtoberfest)
Chocolate chip cookie s’mores (for the kids!)
Asparagus wrapped with pancetta
Sweet onion sausages with homemade mustard
Mango sausages with Kinder’s sauce
Chicken Drumettes with Kinder’s sauce
Crash potatoes (from this forum last week)
Cedar planked potatoes (from this forum last week
These are all pretty quick and easy. I want people to see how easy it is to do sides and appetizers on the Egg.
See you all there. It's gonna be fun! -
Wow Gwen,
That is a lot of cookin. You need a sign, 'One Stop Appetizer Shop'. I would love to be there and see/taste the stuff at your station.
You folks have a great time.

Geez, why such a paltry menu? :-)
-
I'll be there. I'm looking forward to my first eggfest.
-
Been looking forward to NW eggfest all year. Menu not quite finalized yet. Thinking maybe Basil Pesto rubbed spatchcocked chicken, beer can chicken with habinaro chili rub, fresh baked french bread with homemade rasiberry freezer jam and apple butter.

Dang girl, don't you have enough to do just putting this shindig on? -RP
-
So, are you coming Randy?
-
We are going to the fest in IL next week, so no, we won't be in Seattle. -RP
-
You obviously have your priorities all messed up! :silly:
-
What can I say, I'm a glutton for punishment.
Actually, the day of, our BGE Distributor and his employees take over and do all the work. I just have a good ol' time. :P -
I wish you were going to be here too! It's not too late to register.
As of now we're at 364 adults, 34 kids, 32 eggs being cooked on, and 20 coming to the Meet N Greet. Very similar to last year (up just a tad), which was a lot of fun, so I know this one will be a good time as well. -
That sounds delish. Please make sure I get some of that bread with homemade jam! I am a breadaholic. I almost made the no knead french bread but then decided enough was enough.
-
Sent you a mail earlier today but maybe you'll see this first. I'm one of the world's worst procrastinators. I'll do everything humanly possible to register, though.
Todd -
Yikes, I didn't get it. Probably sitting in my web spam box which won't notify me until tomorrow, AFTER I've already left to head over.
Yes, you are the worst! 30 lashes for you. Plus you'll have the pay the LATE REGISTRATION fee.
So are you coming? For sure?? I'll just put you down and you can pay when you get there. Okay? Oh, wait? Are you cooking?????? Let me know so I can reserve an Egg for you. -
I am coming ... for sure. Actually probably have recruited another few folks as well. I'll confirm to get the #'s.
I'm almost certainly going to the meet and greet and if that would work I could give you the names and $ tomorrow?
Oh and yes I will cook if there are available eggs. -
Yup, give me names tomorrow (or tonight would be better cuz after tonight they won't get fancy printed nametags :woohoo:) and money for Meet N Greet when you get there. $15 per person for the Meet N Greet.
$25/person or $40/couple for the Eggfest on Saturday for anyone not cooking. -
Todd, What's your last name?
-
I'll be there bright and early in order to get my brisket on in time for serving. I'll be cooking DR. BBQ's "Shortcut Brisket"...and "Grilled Seed Fruits". See you all there!Wine Country "Q" Competition BBQ Team Pacific Northwest BBQ Association's 2011 "Team Of The Year" www.winecountryq.com

Last name is Gottschalk.
Other 'for sures' are:
Dennis Fitzpatrick
Mika Gottschalk
Evan Gottschalk (who's just 22 months so doesn't need a nametag)
At the most there may (probably) be two more. I'll know tonight for certain.
Todd -
I can't wait. I'm hoping to learn a lot.
-
What name are you registered under?
-
I'm not sure, my husband works for the BGE distributor and they signed us up.
