I used to have a wok cook book and would make fried rice. it was very good. Very easy to make using frozen peas, cooked wite rice, chicken, scrambled eggs...etc. I'm sure if you did a Google search, you will be able to find one.

Thanks. Did you use your wok in the egg? When the egg is left open the fire gets pretty big, but I doubt that would be a problem, because the little reading I have done on the subject, people say they get better results over charcoal than they get over their gas stove. They claim the stove does not give them a hot enough fire.

I also would just use any recipe google found me. I agree a Wok on an egg would be great. The smell from a wok when you take the food off makes the meal. When I eat at a real Asian food restaurant I like to sit close to the kitchen. The smells coming off the wok is wonderful.

A few people here cook a lot with a wok on the Egg.
I do it occasionally but would do more if I knew more things to cook or was better at it.
You need to get a spider to set your wok in the Egg- contact TJV about that (look him up in the members list)
When wokking in the Egg, after your fire is established good and hot, you set your wok on the spider, close the bottom draft door completely and leave the dome open. This keeps it from flaming up around the wok as you try to cook. You cook with the dome open.
When your food is done, take the wok out of the Egg and then remove your food. If you take the food off while the wok is in the Egg, you could wind up burning the stuff that's left on the wok.
Here's where you get the Spider:

From another thread here it sounds like he may be a little backed-up. No sweat though, get it when you can. -
the breath of a wok is a real good read, lots of great recipes. if your cooking real stir fry you need to bring the egg to 700/800 degrees dome then do all your cooking with the lid open. if you close the egg you are baking and or steaming which is what you dont want to do.
