This passed weekend I a made sausage fattie (seasoned with DD) and baked some biscuits. I poured the raw scrambled eggs into a formed circular cylinder. I should have used a cylinder about the diameter of the biscuit. However I was able to cut the larger formed egg patties in quarters to fit in the biscuit. Once the fattie came out of the 275 degree egg at an internal temp of 170 I let her rest for an hour covered in aluminum foil and finally sliced and put together the mini sandwich. I can’t believe how fast these little suckers disappeared. It was a great hit with the kids and wife. Next time I try this I will use regular flavor Jimmy Dean’s (I used maple and thought it was to sweet) and add some cheese to the sandwich.
Take care,
Mike P.

Great idea Jeet and great lookin sammiches!..one suggestion..I know J Dean is talked about a lot on this forum..but go to your butcher and get some fresh made bulk breakfast sausage or find a slaughterhouse that makes spiced country sausage..you'll never do the JD again... ..one question..how did you make this 'formed circular cylinder'???

Those look great and you can't beat a good fattie. I will never eat fried sausage again.

We make the same thing every Saturday. We add a little tomato too.

Hey Mike,
Those are great to do on Sunday evenings after all the cooking is done, that way you can have some to eat during the week. They're also great to eat just as soon as they're ready Yours look great, BTW, and I'll be doing some soon, too. -
Eggtuky,
As a matter of fact I live very close to Ferguson’s that may have breakfast sausage. I will give that a shot. Is the cooking process the same? Jeffersonian is exactly right. I got my egg rings for about 2 bucks at Bed Bath. I used to make egg sandwich (with English muffin) every morning before work using the ring. I started gaining to much weight so I had to cut back

You know, since I've had my egg I've had a real hard time going to any restaurant. I'd rather spend 40 dollars on raw food for the egg and GO TO TOWN!

If I may suggest, I made these eggs in a coffee cup in the microwave. put a little butter in the bottom, 35 secs each. Find a smaller coffee cup, scramble, and divide the egg into two cups. HTH.
