I cut out one of those steps and it's even faster. I keep a hair dryer right in my table.
It does work great.
It cuts down on the beer consumption though. -
If you want a fast start up get a weed burner. I can get my large stable at 400° in 20 to 25 seconds.

I use a battery powered camping fan.

He must have a large hairdryer that requires both hands.

I used a hair dryer. . . . once. . . It got way out of hand and I actually ruined my wife's dryer. Oh well. It was an excuse for her to go and get an 80$ professional one.
I actually use just a little dollar-store hand-held fan. Takes two AA batteries and has a foam blade.
Saves me from looking for the extension cord.
But yeah, those thing work great if you're short on time. -
If you like a hair dryer you’ll really love a leaf blower!!! Stand back though. :woohoo:

Holy Cow. Why not just ccok the steaks with a flame thrower if in that big a hurry.

I often times have a beer while the egg is heating up. If it heats up in about three minutes with the hair drier, I don't have time for a beer.

I have used a leaf blower and I did stand back.

Capt'n Cook you need a Matt Lienert signature model beer funnel! Get's those beers down faster than the egg gets heated up! :woohoo:
