On friday I posted plans about my First Attempt at doing a Boston Butt.
I just wanted to say thanks for the input. It was all VERY helpful.
Overall I think it was a pretty tasty. The wife even gave it her seal of approval. I'm definitely looking forward to the next time.
I forgot to take a picture before taking it off the egg. Here is what it looked like after pulling:
The best part is that I have some leftovers for a few days.

BB are a great cook. Easy, forgivable and make great leftovers. I like to save some of the leftovers for the Apple Pie Filling Baked Bean recipe. Great job!!!

looking good smak...great job and thanks for the pic..yeah..those PP leftovers are great for everything from eating str8 up to using in beans, stews, abts, pizza, this goes on...I usually make enough 'extra' to vac freeze a few 2 cup bags each time for use as stated above.. always good to have some PP or even pulled beef around :woohoo:
