Cleaning black stuff from around top vent

I recently asked the Forum for advice on cleaning the accumulated black stuff (baked on crud) from around the neck of my Egg. WooDoggies came through with a good suggestion - use spray-on oven cleaner. I did and it worked. The stuff started coming off almost immediately. I even sprayed it around the other parts that were a bit dirty from being outside 24-7 in the Texas heat. Cleaned it like new. I'm a happy camper now. Thanks WooDoggies.[p]Spring Chicken
