Please forgive me but it's frickin' 30 degrees out here in Marietta! Geeezzz, I'm cold at 60 degrees! The egg is snowed in!
I got this at Big Lots for only 50 bucks. Believe it or not, it actually works pretty well. Chicken takes 1.5 hours and it steams veggies great!

don't you just feel guilty when you DON'T cook on the egg. i used my oven tonight because i have a back spasm and it is 18 degrees here. i feel like a wuss.

It was -3 when the Chefs lost to the Colts in a playoff game one year. I have been to some cold games. It doesn't seem to bad until your team sucks. The small did wonders. Do you have the portable heaters turned on?

Don't even get me started on that crap. You think world war III started the way they cover a non-event.
Been really busy trying to get myself gainfully employed again and slowly getting myself back into life after Sprint. Did really realize how bad things got with that job till I got smacked with a brick.
Now I work strange hours. Fri-Sat-Sun 6PM - 7am. Cool thing is when I am competing the Friday hours become Monday hours.. -

talked to my mom tonight and she was complaining that the temps dropped into the low 70s.
i was standing out at the egg in my stocking feet and it was 20 degrees and sunny. first thought ? wow. what beautiful day.

we'll take whatever we can. was supposed to be 15. just happy we topped 20.
hell, i had to go halfway to the street today in just my wife's bathrobe (barefoot, no fuzzy slippers) just to get the sunday paper. thank god for fuzz in the nether region.

Haha, I have one of those. Gift from the in-laws. Haven't used it in years. I will admit though that the rubber gloves that came with it have saved my arm hair a few times during some nuclear egg cooks. -
It reached single digits here. I smoke 10 pounds of fish. Followed that with roasting eggplant and red peppers. Finished the day with some stuffed pork chops. Did most of the cooking without a coat.

Ha... well, I'm from California, wife from Michigan, went to college in Wisconsin (Go Packers), transferred to Georgia where the weather was supposed to be 'warm'!

That is what is so great about Georgia...there are four seasons...winter,spring summer & fall. Unlike some places up north that are stuck with two seasons...winter and the 4th of July.
If you don't like the weather in Atlanta...just wait a few minutesand it will change. -

Oh my!!! I own Ronco too. My favorite piece of meat in it...whole chicken followed by turkey.
Don't feel hated, I still use it once in a great while -
No substitute for good egged chicken.

Yesterday's air temp at lighting was minus 16 degrees (celsius). Still wasn't going to let my buddies go hungry and did them up some steaks, shimps with lime butter, and asparagus. Was outdoors for less than 5 minutes at a time, but did conceed to the weather and wore shoes which goes against my egging nature (food tates better when the chef is barefoot).
