Hey everybody,
If you have a Marshall's or TJ Maxx nearby and are interested in enameled cast iron, you might want to stop in. My Marshall's just recently got in a fairly nice selection. I bought a 7.5 qt Cuisinart. They also had Chantel and another make that I do not presenlty recall. Of course, YMMV.
Best,
WA

You did not mention any price. From that type of retailer we are looking for a deal.

I paid $70 for the 7 quart. Wife thought that was too much. Took her to the Le Creuset store and she cheered up right away.

Paid $29 for 6.5 qt emamel cast iron at walmart, $42 for a 16 qt pot same brand.
Le Creuset is nice stuff though.

Many years ago when I was a member of the Jaycees, we wouild deliver fruit baskets to shut-ins on the weekends before Christmas. I and my partner went to this one door, rang the bell and a little old lady answered. We told her why we were there and gave her the fruit basket. she asked my partner what her name was, then she asked what my name was. I told her I went by my initials and before I could tell her what those initials were, she said, "I'm pleased to meet you Bahmanicious!"
