He has stuck his nose into things I set on the tables but hasn't stolen anything. He may be 212 lbs but he's really pretty timid. I'm surprised he hasn't chewed on my Lawn Ranger handles, they must be full of flavor by now. -RP

I've been using a perforated pan called an Airbake, sounds like what you have. I set the plate setter legs up with the main grid on the legs. The pan sits right on the grid. Be sure to get a very clean burning fire before putting your pie in. Good luck! -RP

Man - I can't match some of the beautiful pies in this thread, but I did make a darn good one with Publix dough, fresh basil from the garden, sauce, and mozzerella.

RTD,
I noticed that you have paper under your pizza's, is that to prevent sticking? We just started making pizza's on our egg recently and have not used the paper. Just curious. Thanks.

to prevent sticking and to prevent the stone from getting all messy. multi-purpose

Jay,
What kind of flower did you use? I like the way it looks. -
Morning Al:
I have no idea what flour Publix uses in their pizza dough!!! I am pretty sure these were dough bought at Publix, but not positive.Have a GREAT day!

Well I'll be - that was a beautiful day!
Chris and I had a ball cranking out pizza's - and finally figured it out after about 10 or so (not to mention the more than a few PBR's to grease the wheels)
Cheers brother...

Yeah, I use a parchment paper. However, make sure that it does not hang over too much. It will definitely catch on fire.
I have not tried using the EGG feet and my last pizza crust was a bit doughy in the center.
I will have to try this.
Thanks,

I have been thinking about getting some of those pizza screens.
Does anyone use them for something other than pizza?
I was thinking that they could be used for shrimp, scallops, maybe even fish.
Greg -
Mike,
What are the green leaves???
Greg -
Basil from my herb garden.

I use them for alot of stuff. Things that are small, like ABT's, bacon wrapped pineapple stuffed shrimp. Duck breast NBB's
