I tried putting a photobucket image
(())
into the text box just like on the old forum but it didn't work. Any suggestions on posting multiple photos? Thanks.
john -
use the IMG Code from photobucket in the body of your message. Don't use the HTML Code like we did on the old forum.
-
above the text box there is a little box that says "img" you have to click that box first paste in the direct link from photobucket and hit the "img" button again

No, John, copy and paste the last line of code from Photobucket, which is the "Image Code." It starts with
-
-
[/img]
If this works, many thanks to all for your help! -

Click on the code that I have circled here (that will copy it to your clipboard), then click CTRL-V in the forum message window and it should paste the correct code. Make sure the image is no larger than 800x600px.

Nice pic

Ok Jason, here's an attempt following your direction.
Interesting though in my last post, when I clicked Img, pasted the Direct Link image and then clicked Img again, the image posted.
I know I'll eventually figure this out but for now it's pretty confusing.... oyvey! Thanks for everyone's patience. -

Yeah, that's another way you can do it. Both work. I just find it's easier to do two mouse clicks rather than three, but hey I'm lazy!
Cheers, buddy. Good to see you over at the new digs!

nice pic. what's odd is that i need to right-click and choose "view Image" for it to dispaly at full-res (in a new tab or window). your size seems to be within the limit required, but it doesn't not display at the same resoultion. at least not on my screen.
when i simply view it within the thread, it's down-sized, and jpeggy (pixelated) as a result.ed egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante -
That was taken a few mornings ago from the kitchen window... I can see where the fog and stark trees might be a bit spooky!
-
Yeah, I'm totally bumfuzzled over the picture posting thing on the new forum. It's way more complicated than posting photos on the old forum. Maybe when WMK has dealt with the bigger issues, he can simplify this process as well.
Cheers to you, Stikeman. -
John,
Glad to see you post. You have the same E-mail address? If so, look for mail or send me one with the corrected one.

Those gnarly old trees produce tons of these every June..... aint no pruning until the boss says they need pruning! :~)
john -
You've got mail my friend.

i remember that pic. great stuff, man.
i've come to the conclusion the only thing my cherry trees are good for is producing smoking wood :P
