they are great
[p]i have done them direct and indirect about the same both ways as far as i am concerned. remember they are already cooked you are just rewarming them...[p][p]

They are really, really good. And I would love some now. Like Bente said you just want to warm them. One cool way I have seen is to cut the shell open longwise, peel it back a little, then brown quickly meat down. Then flip em meat up and drizzle on some butter, garlic (and whatever else you are craving) and finish heating them through.

i really like that idea.... i have wanted to do them, but have always thought that just laying them on the grid to heat up wouldn't impart any BGE goodness. grilling face down and then filling with melted butter... mmmmmmmm (makes homer-simpson-yum-sound)

MAN that looks good. I've been wanting to try some the last couple weeks but with Thanksgiving and all, I didn't MAY have to try that this weekend. They've got New York Strips on sale at Piggly Wiggly this week for %3.99 a pound so may go get a few 2 inchers and pick up come crab legs as well!!!!!!
