Hi ya'll, I think it was RumAndJerk that did some stuffed pumpkins a few Eggtoberfest's ago. My question is: do you egg the pumpkin with the top on or off? Thanks to all and Keep Smokin, Dana

BGE Pit Crew,[p]I put the pumpkin in a drip pan, over indirect @ 325.[p]I put the top back on the pumpkin, so that the filling was "protected" by pumpkin flesh all around.[p]Turned out great -- and next day "seconds" seemed to be even better.[p]That said -- this is a "different" kind-a flavor, great for a once-in-a-season-kinda-way. Definitely "squash" Actually, I think the best part of the dish was the pumpkin flesh, rather than the innards.[p]~ Broc[p]
