Recently somebody posted a picture of some shrimp done on their egg. I think it was in a wok...maybe not though. I sure would like to have a good recipe for it. It will be served as an hors d'oeuvres. TIA
DynaGreaseball,
I have never cooked in a pan/wok, but shrimp are great grilled. I generally just wing it, but the recipe goes like this. [p]Mix crushed garlic, finely chopped serrano or jalapeno into EVOO and pore over shrimp on skewers. Substitute butter for EVOO. Add some lime juice when you flip the shrimp. [p]Also coat with EVOO and sprinkle with your favorite BBQ rub. I like DP Tsunami Spin and Jamacian Fire Walk
BobS,
I did them in Denver and Minneapolis, they were well received. In Denver, people were standing next to me as I took them off the Egg, they were taking them as soon as I set them on the plate. Since they were so popular, I decided that I am doing them in Atlanta, and nothing else. Going to be expensive, but heck, they're good. -RP
DynaGreaseball,[p]I just had these up.... Marinated with lots of garlic, lemon juice, DP Dizzy Dust, olive oil, and rosemary. Into hot pan, few minutes a side (a little more lemon juice sprayed throughout) off. A little more DP and we eat them over pasta....[p]

0 • Off Topic Disagree Agree LikeI would go for 375 - 400 and I figure about 2 minutes on the first side and judge time on the second side from there.

I've been told another good variation on this is replacing the parsley with cilantro.
Cheers,
Al
