Cedar Table Care-How to Treat
Options
I have a cedar table I built for the large egg, it is several years old now and I have been mostly leaving it natural. Just washing with a pressure washer. The table seems very dry and gets looking bad in a short period of time. I saw a post a while back about using a oil based treatment of some sort on the table. Any wood workers out there that can help? My power washer has made the top rough over the years so I just finished sanding it with a belt sander, it looks very good right now and would like to do something to keep it that way longer.[p]Thanks,[p]Happy Egging

Hi Jerry,[p]Do you have a color in mind? TWP and Messmers are two good penetrating oil stains that you can get in single gallons. They're used mostly by contractors so you only see them in paint stores or online. (www.opwdecks.com).[p]Cabot's clear solution and Olympic Maximum are available at Lowe's, probably the best of the easily obtained stains. The contractor products are better.[p]My cedar fence is finished with a product I like, called Readyseal, but I don't think it's available in less than a 5 gallon pail. ($$$)

JerryS,
Sent you an email on the product and also some pics
