The early bird gets the worm!!! Happy WoosDay. Here's a couple shots of Copper River Salmon fresh from the smoker box and some pepper beef that was Egged until 140° and then braised.[p]DSC02746a.jpg[p]DSC02750a.jpg[p]DSC02724a.jpg[p]~thirdeye~

thirdeye,
Good Morning, bright and fresh here after last evenings rain. Cooler too, I like that.
Very nice looking salmon, bet it tasted great![p]Here's a pic of wild iris at Bullhead Lake, a nice place to kayak and do a little fishing for large mouth bass.[p]Fathers Day 8# lamb, de-boned & tied up with DP Redeye Express. Dr. BBQ's Lemon mop made it goooooood.

Tell us about pepper beef, you got me curious.
Last night I did some ribs ala Bobby Flay. Turned out good. Nice flavor.[p]IMG_3987.jpg[p]IMG_3988_edited-1.jpg[p]If you try his recipe, don't go by his cooking times. I did mine for 5-1/2 hours indirect at 220 deg, then glazed and continued cooking indirect for 25 more minutes.

Buster Dog BBQ,[p]Good looking boxes. What were your scores?[p]Smokey
• Buster Dog BBQBuster Dog BBQ Posts: 1,366
Scores below are from all six judges separated by Appearance, Taste and Tenderness then our point total and the winners point total (out of 180).[p]Pork - 868988 | 988997 | 889897 | 168.5716 | 172.0000[p]ribs - 876899 | 986788 | 868787 156.0002 | 173.7144[p]chicken - 997879 | 687486 | 788567 144.5712 | 173.1426[p]brisket - 998878 | 866776 | 866886 142.2854 | 173.7142[p]The pork finished 2nd, ribs 13th, and the other was 24 and 27 I think. I plan a few new things. My ribs were bad because they were small. My fault for getting different ones the night before. We will see what next week brings.
